I read somewhere on the internet that museum gel can help cats knock things over. So I put this stuff under all my plants and my cats can't knock them over anymore and break the pots! It saved me a lot of trouble. It's like transparent dumb putty. You don't need much as it will slowly flatten out and spill over the edges (make sure there are no clothes or towels underneath you, you won't be able to get it out of the towels). Very easy to pick up and move. Does not damage furniture or windows! If you have cats this is a must see. Edit: If that gets on your clothes, it won't come out. In addition, if left on even slightly untreated wood if not fully sealed or aged it will rub off. So as long as the surface is airtight and not woven, you're safe. And pay attention to the clothes!
