bought this item to fix a torn boot that was not repaired before selling (buyer beware). As this was installed yesterday I have no data to suggest longevity or longevity. However, the feel of the material seems to be comparable to the OEM. A few considerations: Make sure you have your measurements to ensure a proper fit. Watch the YouTube video for the installation! You'll be amazed at how easy this is when you disassemble the entire front end to get to the replacement point. Buy a $2 long-necked funnel and cut it to size, as well as cheap wax for greasing household furniture.
