This children's play mat is extra large. Suitable for use in the arena or on the floor. I love the pattern and the neutral colors. It has a non-slip bottom so it helps prevent movement when using it on a hard surface. Using it on a hard floor may injure your child if they fall, but the padding isn't as thick as a soft blanket. So I wouldn't rely on it 100% to prevent injury. But to put it on a rug or just to add a pillow in the playground, it's big, comfy and cute! The measurements say it's 70 x 55 but that's not exact. It is about an inch shorter in width and very short in length, about 5 inches less. Therefore the description definitely needs to be updated to reflect the correct size. Plus we love this playmat and the quality is great!
