Nice sommelier! We have had a French Laguiole for many years but it was badly damaged when our house burned down last year. This autumn we bought a Chinese-made Laguiole from a liquor store in Dinant for 16 euros, but the screw broke on the second use (beware of the black-coated screws). However, this one is well made and works just like the original (blade and screw open easily) - and still works after a dozen uses. So we are very satisfied with the quality and the price. I bought my real Laguiole 15 years ago on sale for 59 euros, but I couldn't bring myself to pay the current price and I didn't give up on saving mine. So, hats off to Flying Colors for offering such a great alternative at such an affordable price!
