Beautiful and Safe on Sensitive Ears

This design is one of my favorites for personal reasons and I've owned several pairs similar to this over the years. I purchased Design #1- the only difference between that and the other two appears to be that mine didn't have a stone in the middle or rough/sparkle edges- they're basic polished silver all around. I don't understand some of the reviews here, so I'll go over a few of my findings with them.Post Length: No Issue for me. They're poky when I try to sleep in them, but fine throughout the day.Design: I purchased these because they were a basic trinity knot/ Celtic knot. The design has special meaning to me and these were perfect in that regard.Design Size: I actually found them quite large. Look at the model's photo in the product description- they take up her full ear lobe. That's how they were for me too. It actually made it a bit difficult to match them with studs to put in upper ear lobe piercings. Not a bad thing at all, but if you're trying to picture what they'll look like on you, bear in mind they will take up your full ear lobe and they're probably best paired with simple small studs if you have additional piercings.Backs: I've had no issues with looseness or the backs falling off.Hypoallergenic: This is the usual sticking point for me. I'm allergic to nickel and a bunch of chemicals. Even when I purchase items that claim to be nickel-free and hypoallergenic, there's a 50/50 shot as to whether I'll still react to them or not. I did not react to these. I have worn them a ton; pretty much non-stop for about a week now.Value: I think it's possible to find less expensive earrings in a similar style. However, when you consider how well-made these are and that they really are safe for sensitive ears, they're well worth the couple extra bucks and probably then some. Great value.Giftable: Depends on the person you're gifting to. I think the size is too big for a child, but they're probably good for teens and up. I ordered several different sets of earrings when I got these and I don't recall the package these came it, but they either came in a gift box or satchel- either way, the presentation was ok for gifting.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Larger than expected, but goo quality.
