We bought this to replace the Waterpik which failed after around 18 months which is too short in my opinion. When this happens to us, we replace it with another manufacturer's product whenever possible, which is why we chose this one. This machine offers better cleaning and is better for on the go than cordless irrigators. It has three modes. I prefer a pulsating ode with variable pressure so I can synchronize my movement for stronger bursts in the spaces between my teeth. It also indicates the charging status by flashing the mode LEDs. It has two issues, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5: 1) The charging port has a small rubber cover that's easy to lose 2) Like the Water Pik, it doesn't show the battery level and stops immediately if it's drained; a low battery indicator would have made it a bit more user-friendly. What I like is that it runs at full power until it stops. We've had it for a month now, so its durability has yet to be tested. This is a problem and the real weakness of these reviews is that after a year or so we can't update them if the product fails. Revain would increase the reliability of these ratings if we were allowed to update them for at least the warranty period.
