I use a short handled silicone dog litter brush. It killed my back. Vacuums just don't remove all dog hair from beds. I saw this long handle version and had to try it. Assembly was easy. Seems extremely strong. Didn't bend at all when used hard on dog mats. Amazingly, I could sweep standing up without bending down! This broom pulls every hair out of the tarpaulin. I make a pile and then just sweep with another new broom that I bought at the same time. This silicone brush has a normal width. Washes off clean. I think the side of the mop might make it easier to clean screens and windows. This broom saves a lot of time before vacuuming carpets. It removes almost all dog hair, allowing the vacuum to do the hard work of removing deep dirt. There's no need to throw away a full canister just for dog hair and lose suction because hair is loading up the vacuum! Yes, if you have animals that shed, great. The clean option is what I need to do to test how it works. I reckon it would be perfect for my porch tile screens as it tidies up so well, I'm just guessing I don't need to buy 1 for indoor use and 1 for outdoor use. There are hopes, I just need one. Only because after spraying it with detergent and water, it rinses out and stays superbly clean. I'll try as 1. I'll try to revise this review if it doesn't work.
