I found ads annoying too until I tried it and realized it wasn't bullshit. The best soap to be honest. I've tried every other bar of soap and liquid shower gel. All of them leave my skin dry and not even clean. This is the only bar of soap that is not too overpowering in fragrance, leaving skin soft and hydrated, clean and all natural. The only downside is that 1 bar lasts 1-2 weeks MAX. In the long run, using this soap will cost you $1 a day if you count. Sure, it's not a lot, but it adds up like crazy. Either you contribute a little more to great skin, or you settle for other crap.
