Sufficiently large compartments for thumbs
I would have liked more compartments (thumbs here). cut across. You must separate the spacers prior to installation as they are still attached to the production gate. Each compartment measures approximately 2" front to back and can be divided into 2" compartments if needed. The lid snaps on very securely but does not touch the top of either divider - small items such as pins or beads can easily slip over the top of the dividers during transit. For buttons, nuts/bolts, etc., this is a very good organizer!
