Very nice fittings. I was specifically looking for a piece of brass because it will be used for a basement door and will often be exposed to moisture. The previous galvanized barrel bolt was rusty. My only comment is that although the body of the item appears to be brass, the screws that accompany this item are NOT brass. At least the body isn't magnetic. On the other hand, although the screws look like brass, they are magnetic. So I used stainless steel screws as the color variation doesn't matter where I installed them. Just note that if you want real brass screws, you may have to design your own brass screws.
