I bought this timer in 2018, until recently there was not a single breakdown. I tested all the timers and they were only off for 5 seconds which is very accurate compared to the hourglasses I've used in the past. Last year we gave our son's teachers 5 minute and 15 minute hourglasses as he has autism and couldn't handle the squeaky bell in his class (these colorful and quiet hourglasses helped him make a much smoother transition , and they stayed focused longer). These timers were thrown and dropped a few times and the glass didn't shatter, but the plastic on top holding the sand broke after my 6'2" husband dropped it about the 8th time and it hit the tile hopped lol we sealed the gorilla with a tear in the top plastic and at home it worked for a while but it's time to replace it after a year of being beaten at home and school this is mine Excellent quality I think!The one minute timer works wonders for all three of my children (ages 6, 5 and 2) as we use it to brush their bottom teeth then they flip it over and brush their top teeth for the recommended 2 minutes. They've come in handy so many times, unfortunately we lost a few so I'm buying another pack. Definitely worth it!
