This set contains gold and silver cleaning and polishing cloths. Each box contains two cloths - a white cloth for cleaning and a dark cloth for polishing after cleaning. The fabrics are treated so that they cannot be washed, but they are big enough to wash a variety of things. I tried silver fabric on a pair of silver earrings inlaid with blue lapis lazuli. The silver part was completely covered with tarnish. I was impressed at how well the white cloth removed the black residue and then the dark cloth polished the silver to a warm shine. And while gold jewelry doesn't tarnish, it does get dirty, and the white cloth in the gold set cleans the jewelry well, and like the silver set, the polishing cloth creates a beautiful shine. Excellent.
