Advertisement says 'Generic replacement for OEM factory stock' but the OEM bulbs are 55w each and these are 100w. Many cars have cords that take the increased current draw of a 100 watt bulb without overheating the wire, connectors or even the headlight relay. Because they draw almost twice the current of standard incandescent bulbs (nearly 8 amps each) instead of about 4.25 amps each for OEM bulbs, the alternator also draws more current. If your car has marginal wiring then they are not for you unless you add a separate relay system to the bulb so the car's wiring is not overloaded.
