Great kit for my Chevy Malibu

Picked it up for my 2012 Chevy Malibu LT. This worked great allowing me to hook up my trailer to the tail light wiring harness. Installation was pretty easy. You need to remove the taillight housings. But then it's as simple as unplugging the stock wiring harness and plugging it into that connection. You need to run wires to each light. I started by connecting the driver's side wiring harness first, then routing the wires down and through the bumper, and then back to the passenger side light. YOUR LIGHTS WORK ON YOUR TRAILER REAR) If you have a trailer handy, you can connect the wire harness to the trailer lights and check the turn signals to make sure they are connected properly. I haven't had any issues with mine since checking it before, but I could see that this could be a simple bug. Running wires through the rear bumper cover was a bit of a hassle, but not bad. The first one is easy because you can get it on the ground and it just falls through. For the rear light, on the other hand, you have to lay the cable, so I first lowered it with a leftover piece of wire, then tied it to the cable harness and pulled it up. The kit contains many wires. Sentence. I wrapped some of them up and clipped them right under my car's taillights so the wires didn't hang too low under my bumper. Multiple cable ties are included to keep cables secure and hidden. This belt only took about 20 minutes to install and it does the job perfectly. All turn signals/brake lights/parking lights work as expected. This is a great trailer lighting kit and way better than splicing stock wires.
