Review on ๐ŸŽต Get Spotless Sound with Studebaker's Vinyl Record Cleaning System - Includes Solution and Soft Pads! by Doug Hook

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Don't expect miracles, but better than any of the useless brushes currently available.

Cheaper alternative to Spin Clean devices. I bought it on sale and for the price it was basic. The complaints people have made here are true: the strip of plastic around the center of the rollers tends to pop out if you push too hard (I've learned to grab the sides of the disc and gently spin it without much pressure exercise downwards). - slow but works) The cleaning liquid is not a concentrate and it is difficult to wet the small cleaning pads - the Spin Clean system, where you fill the entire tank, is much more convenient (I plan to use Spin Clean liquid when the time comes to buy) . The cleaning cloth is complete crap (you'll have to buy your own microfiber cloths, but it's not a huge expense - you can get a pack full of LP-sized cloths for a few bucks at Target). But despite these obvious issues, I was blown away by how well it cleaned my second-hand finds, far better than the last dishwasher model I bought about a decade ago (those new windshield washer brushes can trace their ancestors from the '80s). Don't expect miracles, but he definitely upgraded a couple of CDs from "unlistenable" to "fur" and I'll consider that a win. much better than the last dishwasher I bought about a decade ago (these new dishwashers don't match their 80's ancestors).
