Review on Westbrass Snap Shower Strainer D3198 62 by Doris Lopez

The workmanship and appearance of this filter are very good. Unfortunately this is unusable. The pins are 2-7/8" at the points and 3" at the top where they connect to the screen. Apparently no research or testing has been done on this product. You can install the tabs in the drain hole, but you will not be able to attach this strainer as the tabs curve inward for 2-7/8" separation but are spaced 3" apart at the top. Also, this filter is very, very thin. I tried to get one tongue in place and push the other side with my heel. I had the feeling that the filter was badly bent. I wanted to see if I could bend it by hand and was blown away by how easy it was. I would be uncomfortable placing it where it could be stepped on. Like a shower.
