These pencils had great reviews so, excited by the price, I bought them. There is a great array of colors, but I don't find that the colors lay with a "creamy consistency". The sharpener must have been installed somewhere in the box because I didn't see it. In order for the color to lay I find I definitely need to keep the point sharp, which is not a slight toward these pencils, sharp tips are necessary with all pencils. I'll contact customer service and see what happened to my sharpener. I can definitely add that they stay put when they come in contact with water.
