My laptop won't charge anymore even without this hub. I don't know if my Anker PowerPort Atom PD 4 or this Satechi hub was the culprit, but I got a notification on my OSX saying too many USB devices were using power, so I unplugged a USB stick from the hub, but then found that my battery was draining and not charging anymore. At first I thought so would just be a hub so I plugged the power supply directly into my MacBook Pro.No cube.Then I hooked up my OEM and no charge.As the battery continued to die I tried to reset PRAM,NVRAM etc.Nothing.The Ports still worked though, I don't know if it was a hub, Anker PowerPort Atom PD 4 or a combination but I'll give both 1 star as a warning to anyone considering the same setup Edit 2 9/5/20: After 2 repairs from Apple failed again, it died the third time with the following message: USB devices disabled. Turn off the device that is using too much power to turn USB devices back on. The common denominator is this hub. I'll see if Apple fixes the issue again, but these hubs could break.
