The best solution to an urgent problem.

This is for my 2019 13" MacBook Pro. I travel a lot so having my MacBook is important. I recently bought another brand which was more of a dick but I knew not that it can only be used without the case. This made things difficult because I wanted to protect my $1,500 investment.I saw this product as recommended and thought I'd give it a try.Pros Having a key wasn't like that bad as I thought. The unit remembers my dual monitor settings (I no longer have to plug in HDMI cables to connect it to…

MacBook Pro 16 " 2019 won't charge anymore even without this hub

My laptop won't charge anymore even without this hub. I don't know if my Anker PowerPort Atom PD 4 or this Satechi hub was the culprit, but I got a notification on my OSX saying too many USB devices were using power, so I unplugged a USB stick from the hub, but then found that my battery was draining and not charging anymore. At first I thought so would just be a hub so I plugged the power supply directly into my MacBook Pro.No cube. Then I hooked up my OEM and no charge. As the battery continued

Distorted reviews, product works great as advertised

This product works exactly as advertised. I never leave reviews, I only do so now to make up for some of the ignorant bad reviews it has received. One bad review was about damaged packaging, another about the device not doing what it never claimed it does, and another about using 2 USB-C ports, which is the only technical possibility, dual video to spend I'm sorry the company got a bad review for a great product, hence my positive review here. I will be buying and using many more for my…

Forces MacBook Pro to log out

I've used this dual HDMI monitor dock, a 2019 MacBook Pro with the lid closed, and a variety of other devices. It has been working flawlessly since August 2019. But in the last few months I've seen cryptic behavior. When using this dock, I log out from time to time while still using the Mac. No crashes, no reboots, and it's easy to fix by re-entering my password. Only a few seconds are lost. But now I am getting disconnected from the Zoom call and have to go back etc. I have replaced this hub…

MacBook Pro 16 " 2019 no longer charges even without this hub

My laptop no longer charges even without a hub. I don't know whether my PowerPort Atom PD 4 Anker or this Satechi -Hub was to blame, but I got a notification on my OSX that basically said too many USB devices were using power, so I unplugged a USB port from the hub, but then I found that my battery was dead and stopped charging.
