Review on 🔌 40 Watt Weller WLC100 Soldering Station by Levi Stewart

I ordered this product for some light consumer electronics projects and unfortunately it was defective from the start. When first used, the device did not get warm when plugged in or switched on. . I moved the wire that connects to the iron and then it worked. I pulled it out again after a little over a month and now it doesn't work anymore. The indicator light is on, but the iron won't heat up and wiggling the wire doesn't help. Unfortunately, I'm outside of Revain's return window. Buyer Warning! Cheap quality. In the photo you can see me holding the iron after it has been running at room temperature for 20 minutes. Edit: I contacted Revain and they sent me a new unit even though I was past the 30 day trade-in window.
