I bought this razor and shaving soap/brush on a whim after getting fed up with the durability and cost of disposable razors. Jents, Schick and Bic sell us junk. It is such a pleasure to shave with this razor, old fashioned soap and brush. It's far more convenient than any of the new shaving gels or high-tech four-blade gizmos. The shaving quality is excellent. The shaving mechanism is strong and well made. Removes well and easily. It lasts a dozen shaves with hardly any noticeable loss of sharpness, and the blades are cheap, cheap, cheap. If I could find a good travel soap and set of brushes, I would shave at home or on the go.
