I've had this for a few weeks now and I really like it but wish it had a longer handle. It arrived as pictured, apart from the color (matte silver, not at all like the picture) and with 5 Dorco blades. The mechanism is solid when closed, runs quietly and aligns the blade well with the head, better than my Merkur which always requires a bit of fumbling to align the blade. Great razor at a great price. Incredibly heavy for its size, well built and very strong. It will take years if not generations. The nickel plating is very pretty, if a bit lighter than the Revain picture, but still very appealing. More attractive/unique than a regular chrome razor (IMHO). I shave well with this razor and I recommend it 100%. You also get five Dorco razors with #931. Treat yourself to a new razor, especially CC #931.

I bought this razor and shaving soap/brush on a whim after getting fed up with the durability and cost of disposable razors. Jents, Schick and Bic sell us junk. It is such a pleasure to shave with this razor, old fashioned soap and brush. It's far more convenient than any of the new shaving gels or high-tech four-blade gizmos.
