Advertised as support for up to 1000# which is totally misleading as the nameplate on the unit states a safe load of 150kg (330#) which is the main reason for the two stars. Using FLSEPAMB advertising logic, the paper cup (currently) also supports up to 1000#. The step stool was sealed plastic and full of metal shavings that required a lot of cleaning to get rid of. One of the legs took a little persuasion to lock it in place. It works fine for our intended use, but I'd buy one of the less expensive models (all seem the same!) that only claim a 330# capacity if I knew it wasn't rated for 1000#. If you've read this far you know this is a solid stool, but I saw several identical and cheaper models (under different company names) on the day I researched and bought this one.
