I have been using these for many years and have found them to be the most effective for creating double eyelids after trying several other adhesives and Tried adhesive tapes (including 2 different Koji Eye Talks, The Darkness eye and eyelash glue and randomly other Korean and Japanese brands). Don't worry about "soft" DUPs either, as they don't hold up nearly as well as this one. The double sided tape makes them almost invisible, maybe until the end of the day when the corner lifts out of the false crease you created. They are easily removed by simply peeling them off with your fingers, but I do not recommend this as it stretches the eyelid and causes the eyelids to droop earlier (due to the stretching of the skin and fascia in that area). , wet the area with a warm cloth and water for a while OR wipe your eyes with a cotton pad soaked in makeup remover. Massage in circular motions and the tape will come off on its own. THEN gently remove and it will come off easily with less skin damage. Here's how I apply it, with tips I've learned/gained from years of use: For those with small double eyelids, it's best and easiest to apply just above the natural crease of the eyelid. If you apply the tape too far, you'll often end up with a triple eyelid because the tape can't hold all that extra skin. - For those with one eyelid, the world is your oyster :P It helps to use a plastic needle to "sketch" the crease you want first so you have an idea of where to apply the tape. To reveal the other sticky side 3) without touching the now exposed transparent eyelid tape, use a prong and stick one branch to the extreme right end of the tape and the other to the extreme left end of the tape 4) Carefully remove the tape from the transparent support you ripped open earlier in step 1). You may need to tear off the clear backing at the top again to make it easier to remove the tape. 5) The fully exposed adhesive side of the tape should be facing you. Now squeeze the needle slightly so that the tape curves slightly outwards away from you (if it curves inwards towards you, just blow it out a bit). 6) Bring the needle to your eye and apply it to the desired location. Press firmly on both edges of the eyelid. Remove the cannula by spreading the cannula outward through the eyelid (instead of just lifting it as the edges of the tape will be lifted with it). there a bit. I found that instead of just flashing right after, this helps the tape stick better. 8) Apply makeup as usual. Avoid applying primers directly to the tape as they will easily loosen the adhesive. :) Much luck!
