My 6 year old son wanted a drone for his birthday so we got this for him. The drone is lightweight but well built; The kit includes the drone, 2 battery packs, a USB-C charging cable, a remote control and an extra set of rotors. Having a remote control (instead of using a smartphone app like other drones do) is a HUGE plus - the remote is just right size for a child's hand and the actual controls are very easy to learn and use. Our kids especially love the "Click to Flip" function, which allows the drone to tilt forwards or backwards. The LED lighting on the rotors is really cool, especially when it gets dark. The batteries are a big plus too - there are two of them, they're USB-C (so you can use other USB-C cables if you have them) and they charge very quickly. As far as I can tell, flight time is about average - around 7-8 minutes per battery. We had to calibrate the drone a little when first turning it on (it wanted to fly straight at us!), but the guide provides an easy way to do this. All in all, if you are looking for a good basic drone for young kids that is easy to use then this is a great choice!
