3.5 mm adapter: Headsets

This is my second pair. I think the headphones are great. big enough to buy 2 of them. I use one in my recording studio. They have the right amount of frequency response. I use the other for both gaming and Zoom meetings. The problem I have with this set is that it lacked the all-important 3.5mm jack. I bought my first pair from Target. It comes with a female-to-male connector for audio and microphone. I need this adapter for my laptop. Now I need to separate the adapter I use for my studio from the adapter I use for my office. Going back and forth with an adapter is a pain. If this set included a 3.5mm adapter, it would be better. I'm not sure why both sets came with different accessories. and I don't know where to buy an extra 3.5mm adapter. The corsair.com website states that a Microsoft 3.5mm adapter may be required, but does not provide a model number or purchase link. Update: I think the company made a mistake by providing different colors but only supplied the Y splitter with the BLACK version. So it is NOW clear to me that I bought the black/carbon headphones that came with the splitter. I figured I had a choice of different colors so I went with the blue one so I know which is which. NO, I haven't seen color versions for consoles and I wouldn't believe that one color differs from the other. I think it was a confusing choice for her. Whether it says so on the packaging or not. Now I need to find a splitter because I need one because I use the second set for both gaming and my zoom meetings. I didn't want ALL the headphones to be the same color. I'm considering buying a third one, but now I know that if it's NOT black, there won't be a Y-splitter.
