Firstly I have a 2017 JK 4 door and it fits perfectly, closes all the doors. I bought it because as all Jeep owners know it is difficult to put the top and doors back on, I wanted something I could cover up quickly in case a storm hits. I can easily put it on myself, but it's easier with two people. The first night I used it we got about 1 inch of rain and there were a couple spots where the water pooled in puddles. But the water didn't get in. To avoid puddles, I use three broomsticks across and a garden rake (you read that right) at the back. It no longer accumulates water and dries out even after a few uses. One downside is that I haven't been able to put it back in my pocket yet, but that's not a problem for me.
