I love the size, shape and durability of these containers! I bought a 20 piece set and was excited to redecorate my pantry with these containers. Unfortunately they don't close well. Even with the eject mechanism in the down position, the cover is fairly easy to remove. If you turn a filled jar upside down, the lid will come off and the entire contents will spill. I have returned this set of containers. The kit I bought had a round opening mechanism and lids that came apart easily for cleaning. I've since tried OXO pop jars I found at a local store, which have a square opening mechanism and a lid that doesn't come apart easily. Boxes with a square mechanism close very well. It looks like OXO traded functionality for easy cleaning. Disappointing.
