Best quality for printable CDs. It is becoming increasingly difficult to buy high-quality blank CDs. They record very well and the print quality is excellent. I've tested dozens of discs with Plextor's error checking system and they offer stable, error-free recording on a suitable burner, even with inexpensive DVD burners. For example, you can print professional-looking CDs with an Epson Artisan printer or other device. However, these discs are not as good as Taiyo Yuden's discs from, say, twelve years ago. You get about 80 percent of the quality of those legendary discs. When using Controlled Pierce in a Plextor Professional reference material, the older dye formula gives slightly less error, measured on a large number of samples, even with an old stock. However, the printing surface of the current formula is excellent, and the recording quality is excellent, but not as good as the old one. The surface has a light texture, holds ink and dries quickly. The durability and durability are also excellent, I recommend.
