Review on 🔧 Dorman 917-010 Engine Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Solenoid for Models - Shop Now! by Joseph Quintana

Installed this Dorman 917-010 drive on my colleague's 2004 Chevy Colorado 4 cylinder automatic pickup. The truck had a very rough and unstable idle, sometimes stalling when stopped in motion. I removed and replaced the old part in about ten minutes and then followed the retraining procedure I found online for this particular car. The old part was missing an oil filter which is common with these parts, the new Dorman 917-010 fitted easily and works perfectly. Idle quality and handling are now greatly improved as the engine computer can again correctly control the valve timing.
