The concept is great, especially if you travel long distances with two pets in the car. I bought this for my son and his fiancee who are traveling about 1100 miles to arrive. All necessary utensils are loaded into the car. I figured if they could stow some easily accessible items on the jeep's ceiling it would make their job easier. Unfortunately, when my son got behind the wheel, he hit his head. We pushed the strap on the handle back as far as we could, but it was still upside down - you can't ride like that. So if you are a bit short this might work for you.
