I don't understand the bad reviews here. I followed the instructions to the letter. 1) Make sure you have a good base coat. 2) Allow 4 hours to dry between coats (I applied 3) 4) Allow 3 days to dry. 5) Prepare the board with the side of the piece of chalk. Voila! Works perfectly. One tip I would give is that I applied with a 3/8 inch hair roller for full coverage, then rolled back with a foam roller to remove excess and even out the layer. I used this product on a door which is a smaller project but you can get similar results on a wall using a good low nap roller.
