I have I have had this dog coat for 8 months and he was just fantastic for my energetic 55lb black lab. We live in Oregon and he did a great job of keeping it dry. She is a bundle of energy and loves running in the bushes and chasing squirrels and the coat holds up well and when we walk it doesn't get in the way of her legs in any way. The only complaint I saw the most when buying was the velcro and I also saw someone mention that they put snaps on when in trouble. So I learned how to put on fasteners, although I haven't had any problems with velcro, it's actually still very strong, and that's with three walks a day in a very rainy climate. When it wears out, I just add bars. In fact I am very happy with this dog coat and will most likely buy another one as a spare in the rainy season. Also loves the green coat for the really good visibility it gives my black lab at night and very early in the morning. Thanks Derby, good job, I would give 6 stars if I could!
