Seems to be a good replacement for the inflation hose. Looks well made. The stock Ranger hoses seem to snap/fail where the gas tank attaches to the outer hose. I started noticing that when I filled the gas tank, gas would spill onto the floor. I first noticed this sometime in 2020 (when the truck was 24 years old). I recently decided to replace the hose. I got the job done by removing the tank from the car (I also replaced the fuel pump and the two straps holding the tank at this point). I definitely do NOT recommend doing it this way. I later learned that the entire bed is fairly easy to remove, allowing access to the top of the tank where the fill hose attaches, as well as easy access to the fuel pump and other components. To remove the body there are only 6 T55 head screws, two tail light connectors and 3 small sheet metal screws holding the filler neck to the body at the filler neck. (There are many videos on YouTube showing how to do this. Two normal people are supposed to be able to lift the bed after it's unscrewed/disconnected.) To replace the filler hose from underneath you'll need to support the tank with a jack or something . , remove the two tank straps (lower the tank almost to the MT first or pump out the gas) and lower the tank until you can access the hose clamp that secures the filler hose to the filler neck so you can can loosen the clamp and disconnect hose. It wasn't too bad, and after detaching the filler neck from the body, I was able to remove the old filler hose from the car. The difficulty arose when installing a new inflation hose. Due to the curvature in the hose and the fact that it is large, it is difficult to pull the hose all the way down on the left (driver) side of the fitting while tightening the hose clamp. If you are very strong you might be able to do it easily, but I had trouble. I finally got the hose down far enough where I pinched it and it should be fine, but it wasn't that easy for me. It would definitely be easier to lie on if the bed was made and I will if I ever need it again. You can also remove/replace the tank straps by simply supporting the tank with a jack (or remove/replace one at a time). To do this, the tank can remain in place. I suppose if you have access to a lift and can lift the car well off the ground removing/installing the tank isn't too bad, but doing it with the rear on jack stands is definitely a huge PITA. Anyway, I love this new inflation hose and recommend it.
