This bracket was purchased to support the Sony Bravia XBR 55HX929 TV. Neither the Sony I-Manual nor the Sony PROFORMAWM60 Installation Guide nor Sony Support could tell me what size to use to install the support rods. What is needed is the distance from the desired top of the TV on the wall to the center of the two holes that need to be drilled to install the support bars. I tried to install PROFORMA before receiving the TV so that once I unpacked the TV I would be ready to freeze right away. With young children in the house, I didn't want the TV to be on the dining table any longer than necessary. Result: Drill two more holes after the TV arrives. Other than that - it's a breeze to install and works great!
