My relative was in dire need of a footrest as he suffers from blood clots in both legs and tends to sit for long periods. I have to say this product is perfect for her! Installation was easy as you only need to tighten the four (4) legs that come with the kit. They also use it to store non-essential paperwork and other items when they are not available elsewhere. The only recommendation I would make is not to use this as a stand/sit aid as stated in the product description. I haven't tried this myself, but you run the risk of breaking the footrest and also flattening the top of the pillow. According to customer questions and answers, it can carry up to 200 pounds, but I still wouldn't risk it. Overall I like the overall design and the fact that it can be used in more than just your regular main footstool. My relative is completely happy that he can now rest his legs for health reasons.
