I wish there was a knife holder but I can see how it can really drive the price up. You've got a good eye and a steady hand, boy, hello. I sharpened 2 machetes, an axe, 3 sledgehammers, 4 switchblades and skinning knives and all the knives in the kitchen. Highly polished and razor sharp for everyone. I used my own composition, didn't try the pasta provided. Very fast sharpening from a very slow stone, but throws out a lot of water. Have a towel ready. Very heavy, and before the stone absorbs a liter of water.
