I am pleased to report that unlike some reviewers, my cables came with an 8mm to 2.1mm adapter. However, I read the adapter tip size in another review and not in the seller information - I believe the seller says it should be 2.5mm - but that is the wrong size for my needs (actually I need 1.7mm ). However, this bad information unintentionally did me a huge favor as I need the plus on the tip pin and this cable puts the plus on the barrel! If I could plug what I wanted to charge directly without checking first, it would probably ruin the device. phew! So all in all, this is actually a well-made cable. Just make sure you have the correct polarity before ordering!
