Yesterday I loaded 6 plastic bags with goods and products. The mesh has expanded to accommodate them, while the upper elastic has retained its elasticity. On the way home I tested the net holding power with courageous riding. When I returned home, to my delight, everything was safe and sound! Normally everything would have migrated via the trunk. Due to the upper elastic band, the overall grid has a limited range of stretching. I would suggest that you could unhook the ends from the top hooks, load the mesh, then reattach the top hooks to hold more. I can only recommend this practical supplement. This should be standard equipment on all Mustangs.
