Really tangle free, goes well with thick carpets

*OVERVIEW: IF YOU HAVE LONG HAIRED DOGS IT'S REALLY FREE! WORKS WELL ON THICK CARPET BUT THE SUCTION IS TOO WEAK FOR THE FULL PRICE. I have to sweep the house twice a day to keep up with her hair loss unless it's piling up around the edges of the house. Any vacuum cleaner that claims to be "tangle-free" or "made for pets" is crap and hair gets tangled with every use. I was very skeptical that this vacuum doesn't actually tangle (because it has bristles! Not just fins as shown in the pictures) but to my surprise, after a few weeks of use, NOT A SINGLE HAIR has gotten tangled in the reel! (See photos) Received this vacuum cleaner with a 40% discount during the Black Friday sale. I think it was worth what I paid, but the full price of almost $300 is a bit much in my opinion because it's not that much. I had a much stronger one for $150. But for what I paid I am very happy with the quality of the product, its lightness, ease of use, battery life and most importantly it really doesn't tangle with pet hair. That alone makes it worth it to me.** Fun Facts: 1. Pet hair really doesn't get tangled (hooray!) The only thing that gets caught in the hair are the wheels at the corners (see picture), but the vacuum's function is compromised by that not affected. 2. It's very easy - I'm 9 months pregnant and have problems with high blood pressure with little activity and I have to be careful. I can just take this and vacuum my sofa or carpets with it without any problems.3. It's the VOLUME - low settings aren't too bad, but the high settings needed for carpet are obnoxious and sound like a fan. I don't care what I paid.4. It's very heavy and can't stand on its own, but that's to be expected from any brand of vacuum cleaner that has a lightweight cordless design. It can be leaned against the sofa or wall easily (see picture).5. Too weak with attachments - I wanted to use this to vacuum my car, but low or even high settings are too weak with attachments and do very poorly removing crumbs, dirt and pet hair from thin car carpets. Most of the dirt got in, but pet hair and crumbs in the cracks could not be sucked in because the suction power was very weak. But when it comes to removing crumbs and hair from the couch, it's so easy I just pick up the vacuum and use it on the couch as if it were the floor and the rollers clean it all up with no problem. However, attachments are not used. 5. Goes really well with thick rugs - my son's nursery has a very thick shaggy rug (see picture), almost 3 inches thick. The vacuum is nowhere strong enough to pull forward on carpets, but if you lean it back a bit and use a little muscle strength, it glides easily over thick carpet (again, I'm 9 months pregnant and can do it with no problem ). The rollers penetrate deep into the carpet and remove all traces of dirt and hair. The battery pack is handy and I find it gives ample run time - I get about 40 minutes of use in my house, which is mostly hardwood, where I vacuum the thick carpets and sofa nearly half the time.
