Review on 🐱 Purina Friskies Extra Gravy Chunky Wet Cat Food with Beef in Savory Gravy - 24 Cans, 5.5 oz. by Nikki Ramsey

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I've never had a product complaint with a can of Friskies.

But this one is close because they call a lot of water sauce and the amount of tuna in the can is pretty small. We try giving cats grain-free dry food after one of them has a health issue, but they all love canned wet food and Friskies is the most popular... although 9-Lives is good too. Shreds are very liquid due to the meat/fish content. They prefer pies, slices and fillets, and that's all that matters when all six are circling in the morning waiting for their helpings. Wet food gives them some of the hydration that dry food lacks and is even cheaper per serving than the dry food we use... including Natural Balance, Merrick and Taste of the Wild. Everything we buy...and where it's bought...is based on price, and it's often a lot cheaper here than a grocery store 40 miles away. We can't easily find a crate anywhere as they are always open and difficult to transport, so being shipped in nicely sealed boxes is a real plus. Prices here vary widely and change frequently, but whenever we can, the Subscribe & Save program works well. The biggest downside is the smell and all the empty jars, but we recycle so that helps. No complaints from consumers so no reason to give stars and we will buy from here as long as prices are at or slightly below local prices of around 45 cents a can.
