Do not buy if you have more than one computer

Do not buy if you have more than one computer. Heck, don't buy it at all, you're going to want to buy a newer router anyway. I've gone through two. The router will restart randomly, the more computers connected through it, the more frequently it will restart. If one computer is booting Windows 2000 SP4 and browsing lightly on the other, the lack of P2P or anything else that really bothers it will result in a reboot every 5-15 minutes or so. The first one I died on seems to be due solely to this, in the beginning it restarted maybe once every half hour or hour. It started restarting every 1-4 minutes and then died soon after. I assumed I just had a bad router and bought another one. The one I use is already showing death marks as it reboots every 5-15 minutes. And that's just one day. Technical support did not help. The guy told me several times to switch to the latest firmware, although I updated the firmware immediately after taking it out of the box and holding the manual reset button for 30 seconds, asked 5 times, how my internet connection is, which I have to explain a few things. 45 minutes talking to tech support and she's still working. So now I have to wait for the "Level 2" support person to call me. After searching on Google, it turned out that many people have similar problems. If I haven't already convinced you not to buy it, I'll mention a few other issues as well. or for some unknown reason (google it). Another problem is that the router drops TCP connections that are idle for 5-10 minutes. Example: If you have an IM client and nothing happens for 5-10 minutes, the server stops forwarding packets for that connection, so the IM client thinks it's still connected for a few minutes. If it doesn't work properly in some way the next day, it's taken back.
