I bought this because Scotch Brite is a trusted brand and the price was so great. Opinion. As soon as I tried to remove the paper label from the first cleaning sponge (which was already attached to the stick), the tab that detaches it from (and holds it on) the stick broke off. So I use a soap stick connected with a rubber band for a month. The wand contains soap, but for me the soap runs out when brushing, not just when you press the button. must be withdrawn until it is time for the next. The second scrub is currently being applied without incident and will remain in place. (Ability to sanitize it in the microwave without breaking it upon removal. Well, time will tell. You may need to soak it in bleach instead.) The quality of the real washcloths are fantastic, as you'd expect from Scotch Brite - worked like a charm on hard-to-clean pots and pans while making sure the rubber band held everything in place. In summary, the quality of the sponge is excellent, the stick is strong if not flashy. It's a win if you can peel off the box label and not break the tab. I'm still not sure if the soap will run out, but at least now that I've put sponge two on, the cleaning function is high and no worries.
