Measure carefully. The jacket fits well like it was designed by someone who knows what a dog looks like. (Many other coats are not adjustable) The neck opening is not adjustable, the strap around the chest has a large adjustment so it adjusts to the size of the neck. The quality is good, the fabric is good, the stitching is good, the velcro is good. . It's a lightweight coat and the fabric feels water repellent to say the least. My dog has never worn it outside to test the waterproofness. I bought it for home but it is too warm to wear at home. Ideal for use in the car when it's cold outside. The coat is not reversible. The fabric and stitching are double sided but no velcro. A layer of fabric is the same on both sides. It might not be warm enough for a shivering little dog in a snowdrift, but it holds plenty of warmth for a dog that just needs a little help in the cold. The fit allows a lot of freedom of movement and my dog got used to it immediately.
