I needed replacement speaker cables for a Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 system that uses a 3.5mm TS connector on the speaker side and a bare wire on the subwoofer side. This is the correct format. cable for it. You might want to tin the side of the bare wires to keep them from wearing down over time, but once you plug them in and leave them alone, that's not necessary. The wires are quite small, only 24 ga each. They're not copper either (they're silver, I don't know what metal it is?). For speakers, I would normally like some copper with a slightly larger conductor, but I haven't noticed the sound, so they seem adequate for the performance of the Klipsch consoles. Also, they're unshielded wires next to each other, so I wouldn't run them across electronic components unless you want to generate noise. I know that they can be used not only for speaker wire but also for other purposes. That's what I used them for, so this review is based on that. In general, I only took off one star because the wires are flimsy, but if you don't care, it will be 5 stars.
