I used to sell Stride-Rite shoes as a fit specialist and of all my Stride-Rite purchases at Revain this has been the best yet! The fit in the shoe is exactly where it should be and that's always my main concern. The quality is really good - which is to be expected from SR. The only thing I didn't like about this shoe is that it wasn't wide, but the insert that you can take out to "make" a wide shoe helps. My child wears wide and when I removed the pad it was too loose on her leg. I think this would definitely fit a wide foot but maybe be careful if your kid needs XW shoes.
