This is the first "rocker grinder" I've used and I love it! I've always used the standard garlic press. With a rocker grinder, you can easily remove the peel from the clove and then lightly crush the clove. (They email you instructions after your purchase.) Now I have arthritis in my hands and with my old garlic press it has become very difficult to use the press. Also, I would then have to get the remains of the crushed cloves out of the press, which was an extra step. The Rocker Grinder is very handy in my hands and then you just scrape all the crushed cloves off the cutting board. I also like the silicone handles, they are easy to grip even with wet hands.
