Get another one!: Kitchen & Dining

I bought 2 garlic rockers - one for home use and a cheaper one (7.99 with bonus garlic peel tubes) for our cottage. After using both, the other one is much better! It grinds garlic better and the silicone "handles" are actually little sleeves that keep falling off and don't help at all when using it. The other one I bought doesn't have the silicone grommets and isn't slippery at all. You don't have to pay twice as much - buy another one!

I love my new little garlic chopper. I appreciate the simplicity of the design compared to oscillating mounted breakers. I noticed water got under the small silicone grips when I was cleaning the press. So I took them off and found airing and replacing was just an unnecessary hassle. Unless they're propped up with something I assume the moisture lingers, and who knows what other possible nastiness, so I just threw them away. I am happy now.

Doesn't work as advertised/expected

I bought this to open 2 liter bottles. Advertised to open multiple types of bottles but I needed it for a 2 liter bottle. Don't open them. It simply rotates around the bottle cap and no amount of pressure can make it catch on the cap's grooves to rotate. As he will likely open other types of bottles more often than stated I did not rate him 1 star but he certainly deserves less than 1 star when it comes to his attempts to open 2 liter bottles as he definitely does not opens under all…

I grind fresh garlic every day. I have 4 dogs and 2 people who eat a serving of this every day. I used one of those complex tongs that look like the single handle models and I was afraid to use them. it took so long I took a chance with this much simpler design because I felt I had nothing to lose and I'm so glad I did! I'm amazed at how easy it is and yet perfectly crushes garlic cloves in seconds. This saves me 10 minutes a day compared to the old pliers. I don't usually try to write such a…

This is the first "rocker grinder" I've used and I love it! I've always used the standard garlic press. With a rocker grinder, you can easily remove the peel from the clove and then lightly crush the clove. (They email you instructions after your purchase.) Now I have arthritis in my hands and with my old garlic press it has become very difficult to use the press.
