I needed these pants for running outdoors in freezing temperatures and windy weather. I'm a 5'6" female, 135 lbs and athletic build. I ordered a size up because I wanted to wear it over a pair of thick fleece running pants and I needed a good length and a little baggy. I'm the Followed recommendations of other reviewers on them.I like the big ones, they are hybrids of pants and skinny and taper to the ankles.I have a large waist but there are ties so it works well.Large enough roomy but not huge .I ran in these fleece leggings in 25 degree windy winter conditions.This was a HUGE improvement over my other supposedly windproof leggings which left my legs numb and practically frozen.These pants protected me from the wind and kept me warm.I have ordered a second pair and wear them every day winter running absolutely love them cool spring winds they will be great on their own.
