I installed it on my 2014 FJR1300. It was straight. I separated the old horn and removed it with a hex head. Of the two wires present, brown is the + connection. The wires that came with the horns were useless, so I found 16 gauge speaker wire and some wire terminals that were the same size as the original horn and wires. They are blue. I made two Y wires by taking the speaker wire, twisting the two ends together and inserting the connector that goes to the bearing wires. I made a crossover wire about 16 inches long that went from the "Y" wire to the second horn. The second horn was attached to the existing radiator screw, which was also easy to get. The first horn mounts in the same location as the original horn using the original hex head screw. The whole process took about 40 minutes and the hardest part was getting to the mounting screws. The horns sound great. It's much louder than the original and has a car horn sound that should draw attention.
